Yesterday, the space shuttle Endeavour had its flyover of the Bay Area. My friend Dan and I headed down to Crissy Field near the Golden Gate Bridge to witness the event. The shuttle’s flight path is shown below (c/o stargazer95050).
I’ve included some low-quality photos that I took with my iPhone 4S. Farewell to the space shuttle era!
Since moving to San Francisco, I’ve been taking improv classes with EndGames Improv. On Sunday, the team from my Level II class, Lost My Keys, had our graduation show. My friend Cathy was kind enough to take some pictures of the show, which I’ve gone ahead and uploaded.
TrialPay’s softball team, the Honey Badgers, began our season last Wednesday. In addition to playing, I’ve decided to make myself the team statistician. Drawing some inspiration from the JHU physics graduate student intramural softball team, I thought it would be fun to keep a running tabulation of players’ lifetime statistics. In order to keep it manageable and given that I’m also playing, I’ve limited myself to basic offensive and pitching statistics.
The box score from our first game can be found below the jump.
